We love stripes here at Little Bliss. From striped cushions for interiors to wardrobe staples. For the little ones and us big ones. Timeless, classic and oh so chic, they serve up all the mediterranean vibes when worn well.
Our newest collection of summer stripes were a long time coming, we wanted them to be the perfect fit for both adults and kids. We wanted 100% cotton and fine to the touch and we got it all. Our striped collection is inspired by that timeless chic French style but we work with a Portuguese manufacturer (a family business with a lot of heart and all the fair-trade certificates obviously) and they create for some of the world's biggest, most luxurious brands. If only we could share that info..!!
Styling tips!
Wear your stripes in summer with denim (white ideally) shorts, jeans or even a denim skirt. For daytime pair with simple box-fresh white trainers and minimal jewellery or accessories. Stripes are a style statement all on their own, they don't need a lot else.
For colder days partner with loafers, a natural beige trench coat and darker jeans. If you've opted for the classic navy stripe, don't be afraid to add a pop of colour with a red handbag or a red lip if you're up for it! Remember tan and neutral tones work well with summer looks so beige and caramel tones for handbags and accessories will work with everything. Or add a big straw tote and a gold wedge for summer glam!
We know style icon and Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is a huge fan of the classic navy / white combination of breton stripes but this stylish royal doesn't shy away from a colourful stripe either. 
So, if you happen to have or already wear the classic navy/white colour-way, we'd suggest you add some adventure to your wardrobe staples this year and add in our yellow, green or red stripe for a fun take on the classic trend. 
Whatever you decide, wear your stripes with confidence and a smile.
